Tuition Fees
Compared to other colleges and preparatory schools, Duna International College offers prestigious education for an affordable price. We combine the advantages of an intensive language course and an overall preparatory course to universities for the price of one. It is also worth mentioning, that not only the tuition fee, but also the costs of living are much more affordable in Hungary than in other Western-European countries.
- From the academic year 2025-26 Duna College students in all regular and intensive programs can enjoy a monthly city transport ticket with student discount. (About 10 Euros/month)

Compulsory fees - For the academic year 2025-2026: (All fees are in Euros)
For Non-EU citizens
The following fees must be paid prior to visa application. Bank charges on transactions must be supplied by the applicant.
1. Application fee (for all study programs except Pre-high school): €200 – compulsory - Nonrefundable
2. Registration fee (for all study programs except Pre-high school): €200 – compulsory - Nonrefundable
3. Accommodation booking fee (for all study programs): €100 – compulsory - Nonrefundable in case of visa approval

Regular courses
- Fall & Spring semesters, commencing in October & November
- Study duration: One academic year
A. Undergraduate Programs - Age limit: 25 years old and under
- Pre-medical: €6900
- Pre-engineering: €6700
- Pre-economic: €6700
- Pre-high school: €8700 (Age limit: between 16 - 18 years old) - The Application fee and registration fee for the Pre-high school program together are €1000.
B. Postgraduate Programs - Age limit: 30 years old and under
- Pre-master’s: €8300
- Pre-PhD: €8300
Intensive courses
- Spring semester only, commencing in January & February
- Study duration: One academic semester
A. Undergraduate Programs - Age limit: 25 years old and under
- Pre-medical: €6900
- Pre-engineering: €6700
- Pre-economic: €6700
- Pre-high school: €8700 (Age limit: under 19 years old) - The Application fee and registration fee for the Pre-high school program together are €1000.
B. Postgraduate Programs - Age limit: 30 years old and under
- Pre-master’s: €8300
- Pre-PhD: €8300
5. Insurance fee: €250 - Compulsory
Remarks:
- Applicants above 25 years old must pay for their accommodation for 6 months in advance.
For EU citizens
- Pre-medical: €4500
- Pre-engineering: €3900
- Pre-economic: €3900

Refund Policy:
A. For Non-EU Citizens
1. Prior to visa application - by admission issue: In this case only 50% of the tuition fees is refundable. The application fee (€200) and the registration fee (€200) are not refundable as well.
2. After visa approval, prior to landing in Hungary: Firstly, the visa must be cancelled and then just 10% of the tuition fee is refundable only by submitting the revoked visa. The application fee (€200), the registration fee (€200) and the accommodation booking fee (€100) are not refundable.
3. After visa approval, landing in Hungary and prior to or after enrollment at the College: None of the fees including tuition fee, application fee, accommodation booking fee and insurance fee are refundable.
4. By visa rejection:
- All study programs except Pre-high school: €200 Euro will be deducted and the rest of the tuition fee will be refundable. The application fee (€200) and the registration fee (€200) are not refundable. Refunding will be done only after submission of the official rejection letter from the Hungarian consulate.
- Pre-high school: €200 Euro will be deducted and the rest of the tuition fee will be refundable. The application fee and the registration fee (€1000) are not refundable. Refunding will be done only after submission of the official rejection letter from the Hungarian consulate.
5. Change in the chosen study program after visa application: There is no refund or tuition fee transfer in case of change request in the chosen study program or ignoring to proceed to the destination university.
6. All bank charges in case of refunding must be supplied by the applicant (€200)
Important Note: Required time of the refunding also depends on the refund policy of the partner university.
B. For EU Citizens
1. Prior to enrollment at the College: 35% of the tuition fee will be deducted and the rest will be refundable. The application and the accommodation fees are not refundable as well.
2. After enrollment at the College: None of the fees including tuition fee, application fee, accommodation fee, insurance fee and helper fee are refundable.
